THE police in Lagos State have once again arrested a popular Nollywood star, Seun Egbegbe, for alleged fraud.

The image maker in charge of the state police command, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the arrest of the movie maker.

According to the police spokesperson, Egbegbe, who was last year arrested for alleged iphone theft at the Computer Village with one other person were trying to dupe two bureau de change operators.

It was gathered that Egbegbe had lied to the bureau de change operators that he was the Medical Director of the Gbagada General Hospital.

He was said to have told the operators to bring a huge amount of US dollars and British Pounds.

Badmos said “Good day sir, arrest of notorious fraudsters  today at about 1300hrs, one Seun Karim aka Egbegbe and one Ayo Oyekan disguised as the MD of Gbagada General Hospital and the other as a patient, lured one Alhaji Isa Adamu and Abdullahi Haruna both bureau de change members, from different locations that they needed $9000 and £3000.
